Celebrating a Global Breakthrough!

Every great story begins with a little opening.
Witnessed by the Ministry of Agriculture of Lagos and Oyo State; United States Agency for International Development (USAID) partners with Niji Foods (a subsidiary of Niji Group); as a global African food brand.
As a commitment of the Company towards green society; the certificate of partnership was presented to the MD/CEO of the Group, Mr. Kolawole ADENIJI.
Mr. Kolawole Adeniji, expressed his profound gratitude to the Government of the United States of America and the Mission Director; Mr. Michael Abbey for the honour.
The partnership is an innovation developed by Niji Foods in partnership with International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in the Feed the Future Project of the USAID to address the environmental and health challenges posed by Cassava Peels Waste.
Niji Foods is the largest processor of Cassava in Nigeria, with huge market advantage in Garri, Fufu and High Quality Cassava Flour.
Niji Foods together with its research partner; the International Livestock Research Institute (ILR), established how cassava peels can be converted into edible feed mash for livestock’s (fish and poultry feeds). The innovation is unlocking a new product line with amazing market opportunity. Green wealth!
The partnership was highly commended by the Agency and the government of Lagos and Oyo States as a laudable achievement in fighting hunger and poverty. Creating wealth without negative impact of the community, the project will create adequate means of employment for the villagers; improve their living conditions (increase income and better health).
The project is in line with the mission of the company; which “to create sustainable business prospects for Africa and optimum value for share-holder.”
While the company celebrates the partnership, Mr. Adeniji reassured the public of Niji Foods to continually place a trademark of global acceptability on African foods.
